New THF Gold Card Challenge!

Hi folks,

Starting at 8pm EST this Monday (the same time the Gold Card 500 Race starts), I'll be offering up Gold Card Bounties!

This will go into effect and you'll have 1 week to claim them (by the start of the next race). But here's the twist...you can only claim ONE Bounty yourself. And, once a Bounty is claimed, no one else can claim it.

So the trick is, do you claim a bounty you reach or do you use those cards to try and reach a higher bounty? You do NOT have to turn in these Gold Cards and this only counts for Gold Cards earned after the starting time.

So, here ya go:

3 different Gold Cards of the same value (2c, 2h, 2s) etc = $20 bounty
3 of the exact same Gold Cards = $30 bounty
4 of a kind with Gold Cards = $40 bounty
Full House with Gold Cards (must be different cards)_= $50
Straight with Gold Cards = $60 bounty
Flush with different Gold Cards (must be different cards) = $100 bounty

You can only claim ONE bounty yourself, so make it count. =)

Baffles me all this talk of GC races. When, sometime in the next millenium, I finally get one, it might make more sense.

Do I qualify for the full house? I can do the 2s 2h 2c over 3s 3h? Or am I missing something?

From what I'm reading it doesn't start until 8pm EST tonight. (Monday)

And you can't use card that you already have. They have to be ones that you've earned after the start time.

Yeah just had to reread you are right! So basically the gold cards we have now aren't worth nothing? Saving them isntead of entering those 50$ give aways was pointless?

Gold Cards NEVER expire. Period. You can use them for the Daily Lottery or Giveaways. This is simply a promotion to reward folks who get new cards during this week. ABOVE all the Gold Card 500 miles, even.

I may be misunderstanding this but is this only good for the ring games or all games including the buy-in tournies and freerolls?

Gold cards are only rewarded in ring games after a certain ammount of rake is reached.
