it is probably a good general tip to play cash games on sites with strong casino / sports betting links.
When I play casinos I will quite regularly risk 5-10$ as a STARTING bet in black jack (bare in mind you can wager 4X the initial wager and often 2X) and in a minute make 10+ wagers and you can quickly see that the casino sports book mentality can be passed on to poker so that a 100$ bet on a long shot can seem like nothing.
also remember that people can win $000 at the sport books / casinos and then play poker. To win $$ at poker takes some skill in the first place but many people can win $$ at casinos without any real skill at poker.
The best for this would have been Mansion for the brief period where they issued bonuses to players for casino play then withdrew from the market in US for casinos so players wanting to withdraw (and clear bonuses) had to resort to the poker tables. This period only lasted about 3 weeks but would have been quite fruitful for any solid ring game player.
