Like Fonz said, it is irrelevant. When I have home games, I play it like PokerStars tournaments. Each player starts with 1500 chips and the blinds follow PokerStars' blind structure.
I think you could be fine with 10, 25, 100, 500, 1000. That would work with the structures that I play, but it all depends on what you do. You could start everyone off with 100 chips and have blinds less than $1 to start.
You should probably figure out how many chips each player will get and what the blinds will be every time you play before you buy chips with denominations. Then after that is set, it will be easier to find out what chips you need. |
