During my last few live games, I have been paying attention as to how I stack my chips at the table. 'Insignificant', you may say, and 'you should be concentrating on your game'. Probably. But it's a small detail that may just cause your opponent to fold to your bluff. Here's the genreal chip formations that I use:
Fortress: Create a barrier of chips in a U-shape and put your cards behind it. It will help you tighten up your game, as it is like you are defending yourself from the other players. Good for maintaining a chip lead.
Gothika: Collect your chips in tall, fairly uneven stacks, shorter stacks at the front. This is an aggressive formation and is easy to push your chips all-in. Good for short-stacked players.
Evens: Set your chips out in even stacks so they are easy to count, so you can see if you are up or down chips. Good for when you have around the average chips.
If anyone is crazy enough to try these formations (

), let me know if they work. I have recently been playing and when I get a slight lead, I build a 'wall of 800' which raises my morale as long as it stands.
P.S - I know how crazy this sounds. Im still experimenting... lol
