| | | | It isn't that hard...post 2 times a day (or so), you'll have 100 after 50 days, that's less than 2 months...I've been a member now for over 2 years, it's well worth the wait!

| | | | Nice to have you aboard pdutty and a pleasure to meet you. Welcome to the finest poker forum on the web! The THF has a lot to offer players who are interested in learning more about poker and becoming better poker players.
Take the time to read some of the current posts and if one of them reminds you of a certain experiance that has happened to you post about it, what you gained from it, how did something you saw change the way you played? Things to that effect. We all learn from everyone here, be it good will or mistakes. We gain something.
30 quality posts isnt that hard to do when you put some thought into it what your saying and give your own opinion about something. Im looking forward to playing with you at the tables.

| | | | thanks for having me here... I got my 30 posts already and read many more... yeah I could surely learn something, since I'm not very good player and a risk taker., that's why I'm still doing freerolls all over the place. win some, lose some, but still scared to make my first deposit.

You already know what you need to do! Poker is a risks game, but the risks you take should be the ones where the odds are in your favour. Sometimes that means knowing actual odds (approximately will do), sometimes it just means knowing the table is passive so theywill most likely fold to a bluff. Other risks are losers risks (in the long run).
Why would you want to make a deposit if you have been cashing in freerolls? The answer, I presume, is you have been losing those winnings. When you have adjusted your game enough that you are breaking even or making a profit when you invest your free roll winnings then you have a choice. Either keep playing up those winnings or make a deposit safe in the knowledge you are not too likely to be losing it. You would chose the latter if you want to play at a higher buy in than your FR winings allow, but be aware that the level of play may be higher than you are used to. If you just play up your winnings, be prepared for it to be a long grind to get enough BR to go up to the next level, but that is all useful experience. And spend less time on freerolls once you have money, this is just eating up time you can put to better use in money games (except when you don't feel in the mood for being too serious!). | |

| | | | yeah I guess I would agree with you racing dog, but unfortunaly for myself I've lost allot when I started playing 3-4 years ago, messed up my credit report and now I just can't trust myself. I'm an addict - have to be very careful. So these days l'm playing with something that I make from nothing. I do not want to put money in anymore that should go to pay for my gas an electric bills. here you have a little confession from an old junky.
