This is my personal starting hand chart i use.

I will play any pair 88 and up from any position
Ace-facecard suited or 2 facecards suited from any position also including A10s K10s etc.
KQo from any position as well.
Now here is where I'll get some disagreements:

Any suited connector from 45s and up from ANY position.

From middle position I add the rest of the pocket pairs 77 all the way down to 22 however if I'm at MP1 or MP2 I will often fold these

From late position preferably the button, but will also do it from the cutoff I add K9s K8s Q9s
Any pocket pair
KJo
K10o

Now let me explain my stance on suited connectors. They are the best for me. I have won more money off these cards than i will ever lose. Many will say only play them with the correct pot odds and they would be right, but with these cards I will also use implied odds. For example:

I'm at a table that has on average 57% seeing the flop. That is 5.7 people or in other words this hand may have 5 the next 6 people the one after that maybe 5 the one after that perhaps 6. I call the bet in early position knowing that I am going to get the pot odds because in this case I am using implied odds, but be careful for implied odds do not always pan out the way you think they might.

Now in early position QJs Q10s and K10s may not be the best decision I could make but since I don't see these cards in early position on a regular basis I will take a stab with them.

I am also new to poker, have been playing for a few months.

I would just like to share my early successes.

I always like to see the flop, you never know what you get. I will play any suited connector, and prefer to play these.

AA,KK,QQ and the bid pairs don't really work for me.

I am yet to get to grips with odd's and position but no doubt it will come, I am just playing and enjoying it, thats all that counts.

Any pocket pair is good, as long as you hit them(if they are low) you just have to be careful with the K9's and such because of the kicker, the kicker will always kill you. The best starting hands are :
AA,KK,AK,QQ,AQ,JJ,AJ,1010,A10, anything else your kiker may be beat, so as long as you can play at al you might be able to figure it out
