Default The two scenarios of KK

THF Player of the Year
It never fails there are only two things that happen when you have cowboys...one is you bet strong or go all-in pre-flop and you have a caller then an Ace flops for sure and your opponent has it. Second is you are late position and the first bettor, so you bet small and the other remaining players either fold or one calls and there is no Ace flop, so you bet small and your opponent folds.

KK has to be the absolute worst hand in poker!

Oh wait a minute, there is one more...this time your opponent has KK and you have the Ace and the flop is a K.

I hate K's...down with K's, make them illegal, burn them and shoot any dealer that deals them to you!...it is the most stupid of cards in the deck...we can still have royal flushes even if we eliminate them....how about A, Q, J, T, and 9 suited...yes, that would work!!...write your congressman!

You wouldn't have Aces full of Kings, but Aces full of Queens would move up a notch...that would be good wouldn't it, I mean with womens lib and all...we could even call QQ cowgirls!

I actually do pretty well with cowboys. Maybe i'm stealing all your luck with them lol.

Actually i'm interested in what Fink thinks about this thread and the tin is open...full of worms.

Well here's one that should start some controversy Cowboy:

Your late position in the first hand of the WSOP with KK, a player bet an all-in and it is up to you...what do you do?

This is a little take off on the AA thread, but is actually a more interesting situation.

Try not to go all-in with them pre-flop unless up against a much shorter stack. Make a strong pre-flop raise, and if called be willing to lay them down if an ace hits the board. If the ace is on the flop you must bet to see if your opponent has one. he will usually re-raise then and you can fold. I know I'm not telling you anything you don't already know. You just need to do it under the circumstance.

So 1st hand WSOP you would fold then Ref is that right...I'm not saying that is wrong and I really don't know what I would do, since he could have AA, AK or pocket pairs and in one case he doesn't have to hit and a hit in the other cases could send you to the rail and it's too early to tell what kind of risk taker he is with equal stacks and all.

K's are no phiucken good...not so, neva, notta, absolute garbage....no matter what side of them you are on they will kill you. I just got out of the $10 re-buy and had over 20,000 chips early...this time my opponent had the KK and I had the Ace...and yes, low and behold the flop did have an Ace...but the turn also produced a K...I lost almost 20,000 chips. The hand that knocked me out though was when My opponent had KK and another had 99...I was going to play it easy, yes I called the 99 raise, but then the asshole with the KK said no that is not good enough because I have KK and put us both in ...did the KK win?...no...I Ace'd but the board also nine'd. I don't care who has them or how I play them if I or one of my opponents has them...they will take every chip that I have!

Why is it that I never hit a K when I have KK but my opponents do it with ease, why is it that every time I have KK my opponent has an Ace and a Ace flops or why is it that when I do win with KK I get squat for chips....yes those are mine...pass over those 35 blind chips...or to the small blind "you sure you don't want to call the half bet" OK then just give me the phucken 15 chips, because I have KK!

what put me on tilt in the Sunday Million was having KK twice...I can't stand to look at em, I don't care who has them!

I hate KK, hate em...ya hear me!
