Default Need advice

This is a typical hand where I feel like I could have gotten more into the pot, but I have that "fear of greed biting me syndrome"!! Should I have done a check raise on the river? Any advice or comments are welcomed.

If they don't have a hand theres really not much you can do. I prefer a bet then a river check raise. He could be legitmately betting the ace, in which case your 200 bet gets called.

A check will only work if hes bluffing and you think he'll take a stab, but in a small pot like that alot of players will just give it up.

All depends on your read of the player and what he was holding to whether to bet or check the river.
