suited connectors in NL cash games

I normally fold suited connectors unless I'm the small blind and it's unraised to call them for the flop. They rarely come to anything and I tend to feel you end up spending too much limping with them over time to make them profitable in the long run when you have to muck them to post aggression.

When you do hit, the board shows the other players the flush or straight potential therefore you'll never make enough from the limping loses over time. The only occasion I'll see the cheap flop in other positions is if my table image is strong in particular session and it's possible to steal the pot from the over cautious opponents.

I only play micro cash games and it works fine for me at levels where solid play over complex play works against weak players.

I usually play 1/2 NL and I see middle suited all the time for some reason.. I'll call in late position, but I lay down mostly all suited connectors under 9-10 when im early

For someone who comes across as a tight player in the bargain basement level I ususally infest (though I much prefer 10 player $10 SnGs when I have the funds), I would none the less play slightly lower than that, down to 98s mid pos, and 65 late. Dunno, maybe that is too loose, but I got that from reading web advice, so maybe that's right, maybe it isn't.
