Don't try to play poker with an errant child running around in the house being obnoxious.

I got slaughtered in the poker4ever game this evening, and rightly so.
Next time, I'll make sure I have -no- distractions.

what about an errant adult running around being obnoxious? Then again, that's usually me...

It's hard to play poker when kids running and screaming around the house I usually take a break and sitout and give them something to calm them down.

hehe never had a problem with my kids being a pain while im playing poker they are in bed at that time, but her indoors on the other hand is a different kettle of fish, she plays poker also but is very vocal about her winning and loosing hands. Can be very hard to keep focused on my game with her swearing at the pc next to me

Distractions are a part of life in my home while I play. The games I like to play tend to be either right at dinner or as my kids are going to bed. Makes the game a bit more interesting, don't you think....lol
