N 82 50 24’s Blog :: The AP situation

The basic summery is that it appears someone from the AP staff has been cheating and looking at everyone's hole cards.

It is not hard to believe at all Adeon. There is enough substantial proof.

This is the reason why I don’t like to play for bigger stakes on the computer. It probably happens more often then we see but even once is too much. Thanks for the interesting reading there Adaon.

Its going to be very interesting to see what AP has to say about all this. If this happened on Absolute does it mean that this could be going on at some of the other major poker sites? Why would any poker site risk losing their online license? Imagaine if this happened at a major casino.

The current issue is that it has been proved that AP has a flaw in the software and it was being exploited. Now AP and UB are owned by the same people. Can we trust UB?????

You could say the same about any pokersite online and if it proves to be true on AP it definitely willl be said.
Its not a far stretch to say that it could be happening on other sites as well.

THF No Limit Champion
I seem to remember a similar story surfacing once before where some employees
of a pokersite were playing at the tables during working hours. They knew hole cards.
Forget the details now and I don't know how true it was.

It's all rather worying isn't it.

I think you could be a bit more secure at a public company such as Party and really don't think Stars would risk losing most of their players by having this happen but then again you never know.

I would imagine that AP won't say anything about it.
