Wink everyone got first !?!

Played limit freeroll all night last night. We got down to 7 or 8 people when some weird message popped up on my screen. At 6:30 AM after 4 1/2 hours of "you've been moved" messages I clicked "ok" before I even read it, ><. A guy said he got it too and that it said that everyone remaining in the tourney would receive first place prizes! I've never even heard of this at AP before so I was somewhat skeptical. Play loosened up but we continued to duke it out. I was in 3rd (I think) when I got d/c from the table and could not rejoin, The tourney showed up as "running" but we were all locked out.
Well, this morning the $10 first place prize was credited to my account . This week's AP Challenge has yet to be posted so I don't know for sure if I can enter but I'll post back when I find out. AP rocks !!!!!!!!!!

***********update *******************************
Challenge came up (SUN AUG 6) but I cannot enter. sigh.
And so the emails begin
to be continued....

***********last update *****************************
Got email back the next morning basically saying when the tourney would show up and that you can't register till then...?? Anyway, tried again and now I'm in. Of course evrytime I get in, my cards look great for maybe a hi/lo game. Heh. Did I mention AP rocks ?

Fair play to you zak.

Makes you wonder would everyone had of got first place if it was in a sizable tournament eg 500+players with 1000+ rebuys and addons at lets say $5 or $10 buy in.

I dont think they would then. Might be wrong but.
All i think im saying its easy to do when the prizes are small.

Raymond

please dont be too harsh when your knocking me down for this lol

Sorry if I wasn't too clear but there were 1806 people in it and it was a limit holdem freeroll (with no rebuys or addons so completely free to anyone to play, my idea of a 'real' freeroll.) Only the last 6 or 7 of us remaining at the end all got 1st place. I wasn't so much judging what they did, I was just totally surprised as I have played AP freerolls (and had many wins) for years now but I've never heard of this happening before.
and I am never too harsh bro, I've run my own forums as well as being admin/moderator at others. It's differences of opinions (handled with class) that make things interesting in the first place! If we all agreed on everything, 1 post would be all the site needed heh. Thanks for your input man.

In freerolls at AP the top 5 get placed into the AP challenge. Since this happened although I've never heard of it happening but I did notice this. It showed like you said 7 people at a final table not even playing and the tourney was at like 9 hours. The only reason you may not of got in is because there was more then 5 people left.
