Default Another Example of Absolute Play

Holdem Normal $3/$6 [2005-01-29 17:18:42]

Seat 1 - MRCREEL $41 in chips
Seat 3 - SHADOWBARON $109 in chips
Seat 4 - HLEP ME WIN $140 in chips
Seat 5 - CZBAR $23.50 in chips
Seat 6 - BOKSHEM $52.50 in chips
Seat 7 - DR WINSTON $191.50 in chips
Seat 8 - RAVEN2004 $76.50 in chips
Seat 9 - KCOOPER $74 in chips

*** BLIND [dealer 7] ***
RAVEN2004 - Post small blind $1
KCOOPER - Post big blind $3
DR WINSTON - Pocket [ ]
MRCREEL - Folds
SHADOWBARON - Folds
HLEP ME WIN - Folds
CZBAR - Calls $3
BOKSHEM - Folds
DR WINSTON - Raises $3 to $6
RAVEN2004 - Folds
KCOOPER - Calls $3
CZBAR - Calls $3

Normally, I wouldn't raise this but my raises were being respected and I wanted to buy the button. It worked.

*** FLOP [ ] ***

KCOOPER - Checks
CZBAR - Checks
DR WINSTON - Bets $3
KCOOPER - Folds
CZBAR - Calls $3

*** TURN [ ] ***

CZBAR - Checks
DR WINSTON - Bets $6
CZBAR - Raises $6 to $12
DR WINSTON - Calls $6

At this point. I type into the chat box, "looks like a split pot then"

*** RIVER [ ] ***

CZBAR - All-In(Raise) $6 to $2.50
DR WINSTON - Calls $2.50
*** SHOW DOWN ***

CZBAR - Show cards [6d,Ah]
DR WINSTON - Show cards [Kc,Qc]

*** RESULT ***

CZBAR - HI:Two pair, queens and twos [6d,Ah]
DR WINSTON - Total ($51.50) HI$51.50)Full house, queens full of twos

Yep, that's right he raised me with 2 pair and even continued to bet his last $2.50 on the river after I had basically told him I had a Queen. I'm glad he didn't have more money and I had missed out on an opportunity to raise him again because I thought the pot was going to be split and didn't want to waste money to the rake.

he obviously thought it was gonna come down to the high card. Very bad play - he must have had you on a bluff when you raised and tried to bluff you out of it....but got caned for his trouble!

Well to keep in the high with high card ace is pretty sad...with real money is the sadder thing...even with just playing around with chips people dont do that.

The kid was either trying to bluff u when you had the nutz or he was just tring to buy it trying to make you think this is all his money he would not go in with BS but guess i was wrong yeah that fine with me when i got a FH and they want to bet into me i have no problems taking there money but if he would have had pocket 2's wooh you would have been in trouble....
