Default A.P Blackjack

So I log into A.P today and what did I find WOOHOOOOOOOOO BJ as my heart started to race I thought back to all the "online" BJ I've played and well I clicked the "hide blackjack" tab in the menu and went to do my rounds in the ring.
So about 1/2 an hour later I decide to check it out. to my surprise I found that you only have to bet 0.10 so that made me very happy ,the first hand dealer got black jack then the next black jack again so I chuckled to myself "OK one last hand" and this is what happened

online BJ is an easy way of getting good money - just need to understand bonuses. The black jack tourneys on global are also pretty good fun - Some of the opponents are pretty clever others less so.

I probably have an ev of 30+$ per hour at the BJ tables sometimes I get much more sometimes much less but thats the ev.

3 forms of BJ tourney

1) normal blackjack but during set periods $$ to person with biggest win - these are best seen as NOT tourneys but a better time to play BJ than normal - if you are having a great day then start focusing on the tourney side if that gives you +ve EV - these are no fun to small stakes players though

2) You play against dealer BUT you get given play chips. You have say 1hour of play that you can stop and start during the tourney. Whoever has the most play chips wins. These are heavily slanted to top couple of prizes so you need to take loads of risks. Sometimes there are overlays (30% sometimes) so they are still worth a punt if you know basic strategy etc

3) tourneys proper - a sng would have 5 people at table e.g. all given play chips to play with. after say 15 hands whoever has most chips wins 2/3rds money and however is second wins 1/3rd. They can also work like MTT's as well (usually a little like double shootouts in poker) - online its only on global players that you can play this form but there are many people who play it in the real world and there is enough skill in it for there to be a number of blackjack tourney pros out there.

THF Player of the Year
Scottishben, are there any pokersites where they have these BJ tournaments as you described under #3? I don't want to download casino software to play blackjack tournaments and one on one agaisnt the dealer I don't trust it. I still think they have a certain payout % like slot machines.

I have played one of those BJ tournaments in the local casino. Almost won but lost my last hand. Actually it wouldn't have mattered because I was first to act and bet too little. Still got third.

dont think any of the poker sites do it but global player is about as legit as you can get in terms of online BJ - they dont even shuffle after every hand in the normal BJ.

Its quite a small programe as you dont need to download the slots stuff (high on memory) -

in terms of being one on one with the dealer some of these more respected casinos are audited by the likes of PWC so its safer than a regular casino if you chose where you play. Its the bonuses that make it worth doing though in my view.
